The rise of Jamaican artist Shenseea (Chinsea Lee) is a powerful testament to the power of relentless drive. She has transformed from a single mother facing poverty to a globally recognized star with an estimated net worth of $8 million.

Born in Spanishtown, Jamaica, Shenseea’s early life was defined by struggle and classism. She stated clearly that the only thing she puts before her career is her son, once leaving a boyfriend because he was distracting her with too many calls while she was in the studio. Her honesty has also defined her music, writing the hit “Side Chick” about a real-life situation.
